The results have been published of the Call for Proposals to Strengthen Indigenous Women’s Organizations in the Amazon and Cerrado, as part of the Patak Maymu initiative: Autonomy and Participation of Indigenous Women in the Amazon and Cerrado in Defence of their Rights, run by the Ecumenical Coordination of Service (CESE), with support and funding from the European Union.
The funding will benefit a wide range of indigenous peoples and organizations in different regions and contexts. During the application period (May 28 to July 2), we received 49 proposals from the states within the Patak Maymu initiative, 21 of which were selected according to proposal criteria.
